The 2024 Seminar on New Trends and Technologies in the Power System was Successfully Held in the Philippines
On April 5, 2024, SIFANG hosted the 2024 Seminar on New Trends and Technologies in the Power System in Manila, the Philippines. This conference focused on showcasing the 30 years power technology achievements and practices of SIFANG, providing technical guidance and case sharing for the safety and high-quality development of the power grid in the Philippines.
Approximately a hundred representatives from NGCP, IIEE, MERALCO, DAVOE LIGHT, AC Energy, etc., participated in the conference. Mr. Yin, General Manager of SIFANG ELECTRIC PHILIPPINES CORPORATION, delivered a speech and reviewed the development of SIFANG in the Philippines over the past decade, and emphasized that SIFANG will continue to advance the process of localization development in Southeast Asia.
At the seminar, technical experts of SIFANG delivered presentations on smart substation, energy storage, and power grid stability control. Expert COLLADO of IIEE introduced the new technologies of the Philippines power system.
SIFANG will be driven by innovation to help the Philippine power grid achieve leap-forward development.
