“Secondary Equipment Online Monitoring Project” developed by SIFANG and Zhejiang Electric Power Company passed the technical appraisal on Jan. 27, 2013. The appraisal committee is composed of experts and leaders from State Grid Corporation of China, Each China Center of State Grid, North East Center of State Grid, Jiangsu Dispatching Center, Sichuan Dispatching Center, China Electric Power Research Institute, Power Research Institute of State Grid, Zhejiang University.  The appraisal committee agrees: the project can filter and archive the secondary equipment operation information, provide fast and accurate fault report, improve grid dispatching monitoring and grid accident analysis and processing efficiency. The project is advanced in international level. The project has achieved many breakthroughs either from theoretical exploration and practical application.

The secondary online monitoring system has accessed all the 500kV substation protection information in Zhejiang province, among which, 500kV Zhiyan substation line protection, bus differential protection, main transformer protection all have realized remote control function and the application of operation dispatching technology support system has passed the operation acceptance. It firstly realizes remote control of protection  equipment based on smart grid dispatching technology support system; all sorts of protection software which can adapt to dispatching and control integration and protection information specification of different manufacturer are formed.  During the process of R&D and application, the project has got the support from the R&D center and sales and marketing center.
